Welcome Monument (Welcome is Indonesian for "Welcome"), also known as the Welcome Monument, is a monument located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Completed in 1962, the Welcome Monument is one of the historic landmarks in Jakarta.

During the 1960s, President Sukarno ordered several construction projects for the beauty of Asian Games IV preparation. This includes the construction of Sports Complex Ikada (in what is now the Bung Karno Sports Complex) and a few sculptures, including the Welcome Monument, designated as a monument Welcome.

Statue design was described by Henk Ngantung, at that time Deputy Governor of Jakarta. Construction of the statue was made by sculptor Edhi Sunarso Indonesia. This statue is a bronze statue depicting two men and a woman, waving a welcome in the movement. The woman was holding a bouquet of flowers displayed in his left hand. Height of five feet from head to toe, or seven feet from tip to toe arms raised. Two figures stand on a pedestal. In total, the monument is about thirty feet above the ground. Welcome to The monument symbolizes the openness of the Indonesian people to greet visitors to Asian Games IV.

Construction of the statue was started on August 17, 1961. During the construction of the statue, Edhi Sunarso visited by Sukarno, the U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia Howard P. Jones, and other ministers in his studio.

Welcome monument is located in the center of the roundabout known as the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle or roundabout HI (Indonesian for "Hotel Indonesia traffic circle"). It is so named because of its proximity to the Hotel Indonesia. On completion, the Hotel Indonesia roundabout and is the gateway for visitors to Jakarta. Roundabout features a pond with a fountain.

In 2002, the Hotel Indonesia roundabout restored by PT Jaya Mangala Primary Construction. Restoration introduced a new fountain, a new design of the pool, and new lighting
